Power generation sites are environments withstrong electromagnetic interference, high temperature, dust and high lightning risk. Boilers, steam turbines, desulphurisation and denitrification, coal handling, water treatment and other subsystems are controlled separately by DCS, DEH and PLC systems from different vendors, with dense cabling and complex earthing grids; weak 4–20 mA signals are highly susceptible to interference from variable frequency drives, high-current busbars and thunderstorms. Common challenges:Shared signals between different systems create earth circulating currents, causing measurement drift and jumps; control cabinets contain numerous relays with many contacts and high failure rates; surge impulses on power and communication circuits during thunderstorm season cause instrument damage; temperature measurement points such as bearings, air temperature and water temperature are scattered, resulting in heavy wiring and maintenance workload. Our solution:Signal isolators establish galvanic isolation between systems, completely cutting earth circulating currents; switch amplifiers convert proximity switch, limit and deviation signals in a contactless manner, offering long life and wire-break monitoring; temperature transmitters and sensors provide stable acquisition of key measurement points such as bearing temperature, air temperature and water temperature; surge protective devices provide graded protection for control power supplies, 4–20 mA loops and communication lines; HART interfaces connect directly to smart transmitters, eliminating unnecessary conversion stages. After retrofit,signal stability and lightning immunity are significantly improved, and the number of components in cabinets is reduced, with routine maintenance shifting from "replacing relays one by one" to "troubleshooting via indicator lights".
